Are there rules?

Yes, there is a rulebook including the “movement standards” per station. Indicate if you are not yet able to perform all exercises according to the rules. You are welcome to participate, but we will adjust your finish time/score in the results list. This is how we keep the competition and results fair together.

When will I hear my start time?

Your start time will be announced a few weeks before the event. Depending on the number of participants per category, the schedule for the event day is created.

Where can I find the race briefing?

The race briefing and all event info will be shared well before the event via this website and by email.

Who organizes GYMRACE?

After many requests, GYMRACE is organized by the Mud Masters team, which has been passionately organizing major sports events in the Netherlands and Germany since 2012. After our first indoor event in 2019, we return to the Utrecht Jaarbeurs with the friends of UnScared Fitness, Concept2 and Lifemaxx.

Is there a drinking station on the course?

Yes, there is a drinking station that you will pass regularly. During the run, you may bring your own food and drink. If you start with a “full tank,” there is no need for most athletes to bring anything. No personal drinks or food may be placed near the course, or indicated by spectators.

Is there first aid?

Yes, there is a first aid station and there are mobile medic teams.
