What you'll do
Choose a role that suits you. From front-of-house tasks to race support, including:
Event crew
- Welcome participants;
- Help with check-in;
- Run refreshment stations.
Judges & race crew
- Oversee workouts;
- Keep standards sharp;
- Keep participants motivated.
Support & logistics
Assist with flow, crowd energy, safety and atmosphere.
No experience? No problem. What matters most is enthusiasm, teamwork and a can-do attitude.
GYMRACE event days are big, and to keep the energy high from the first whistle to the final finish line, we work with split shifts.
You can choose a morning shift, starting early and running through late afternoon, or an afternoon shift, kicking off mid-afternoon and going all the way to event close. Pick the option that fits you best, or, if you’re bursting with energy and excitement, you’re more than welcome to jump into both.

At GYMRACE, we work with two shifts. The morning shift starting approximately at 7:30am and an afternoon shift starting approximately at 1:30pm. In the practical information you will receive +/- 2 weeks before the event, you will find the exact times.
From the age of 16 you can help as a volunteer at GYMRACE. For children under 16, it is possible to help as a volunteer together with an adult (18+).
You’ll receive a free participant ticket, a volunteer shirt, a great experience with a fun team, a behind-the-scenes look at a major sports event, a tasty lunch package, high-fives, and participant gratitude!
Tasks include the check-in desk, refreshment station and guiding participants at the work-outs. You may indicate your preference. We’ll try to assign accordingly but there is no guarantee.
Your free ticket is valid for GYMRACE on the same weekend or another Gymrace event or at a Mud Masters event in the Netherlands or Germany. It's a solo ticket. Before the event, you will receive more information from us on how to redeem this participant ticket. You do not need to purchase a ticket yourself.
