Know the course. Own the race.
Below you’ll find the map of your race course. Know the route. Make your game plan. Decide where you’re going to push yourself. That way, you’ll arrive at the start well prepared.

Stairs are part of the race
As you can already see from the map above, the workout zones are located in Drumsheds on the first floor of this former IKEA store. The running circuit is on the ground floor. You’ll therefore be climbing stairs several times during your race. Make sure to factor this into your race plan.
Rulebook & judges
Take the time to read the rulebook thoroughly. If you know the rules, you can race with confidence and give it your all on the course.
During the event, judges will be on hand to guide, support and, where necessary, correct you. For some workouts, AI counters are used to assist the judges.
In the Heavy categories, competitors are racing for victory, so the standards and judging are stricter than in the standard categories.
Finish time
Your finishing time will be displayed immediately on the screen at the finish line. Your final time and split times will then also be published on the Results & Records page on this website.

Briefing
Prior to the relay, there will be a briefing at the start area 10 minutes before you start. Please ensure your entire team is present at the start 10 minutes beforehand and ready with all wristbands on.
Check-in and materials
Each team will find one envelope waiting for them at check-in, containing:
• 5 start wristbands showing the start time.
• 1 timing chip.
Relay changes
All relay changes must take place within the designated relay zone. Only the next active athlete is permitted to be in this zone. Participants may only start their leg of the race once they have received the timing chip from the previous runner and secured it around their ankle.
Bring your supporters along
Spectators give you wings! They are welcome with a spectator ticket you can buy in our ticket shop or at the check-in on the day of the event. Young people under 18 get in for free.
A limited number of tickets are available to prevent overcrowding and overburdened facilities. This ensures that all participants and spectators have a positive and safe experience.

Come to the event in ready-to-race clothing
Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in, and which is nice and breathable. We recommend shorts and a short-sleeved or sleeveless top.
Choose running shoes that are comfortable and offer sufficient stability. Avoid shoes with too much cushioning, as these are less stable during workouts such as the Wall Balls.
Changing rooms and storage at the event
Bring a small sports bag with clothes for after your race. You can leave this in the secure changing room. This is included in your ticket.
If applicable, share a bag with your buddy or a relay team member. This helps prevent overcrowding in the changing room and makes it easier to find your belongings afterwards.
There are no showers at the venue.
Hydration is key
Make sure to drink plenty of water the days before your race and bring a water bottle to the event so you can keep drinking throughout. This will help you stay focused right up to your warm-up, recover more quickly after the finish, and ensure you’re well prepared for the journey home. You’ll also come across water stations during the race and after the finish.
Catering
There are plenty of places in the hall where you can buy food and refreshments.
Pre-order your medal or T-shirt
Reward your outstanding performance and order one of our limited-edition medals or the official London 2026 T-shirt via your personal GYMRACE profile. You can collect it from the merchandise tent at any time during the event.
